This ten minute play was written in response to a challenge/prompt. By the rules of the challenge,
the play could be no longer than ten minutes and it had to include, in significant ways, the color
purple, the phrase "dog retching," and the phrase "writing tablet." The play was originally titled The
Elixir of Genius.
